| Description | 4-[(4,5-Dihydroxy-3-methoxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl)oxy]-2,5,7-trihydroxy-9-methoxy-2-methyl-1,2,3,4,6,11-hexahydrotetracene-1,6,11-trione belongs to the class of organic compounds known as anthracyclines. These are polyketides containing a tetracenequinone ring structure with a sugar attached by glycosidic linkage. 4-[(4,5-dihydroxy-3-methoxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl)oxy]-2,5,7-trihydroxy-9-methoxy-2-methyl-3,4-dihydrotetracene-1,6,11-trione is found in Streptomyces steffisburgensis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 4-[(4,5-dihydroxy-3-methoxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl)oxy]-2,5,7-trihydroxy-9-methoxy-2-methyl-1,2,3,4,6,11-hexahydrotetracene-1,6,11-trione. |
