Thus, thiorubrine a is considered to be an oxygenated hydrocarbon lipid molecule. thiarubrine a is found in Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Ambrosia chamissonis, Ambrosia trifida, Aspilia mossambicensis, Chaenactis douglasii, Eriophyllum lanatum and Picradeniopsis multiflora. Thiorubrine a is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble (in water), and relatively neutral.
