Description(3S,4R,4aR,5R,6aS,6bR,8aR,10S,12aR,12bR,14bS)-2,2,6a,6b,9,9,12a-heptamethyl-4a-({[(2R,3R,4S,5R)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-1,2,3,4,4a,5,6,6a,6b,7,8,8a,9,10,11,12,12a,12b,13,14b-icosahydropicene-3,4,5,10-tetrol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as triterpenoids. These are terpene molecules containing six isoprene units. (3s,4r,4ar,5r,6as,6br,8ar,10s,12ar,12br,14bs)-2,2,6a,6b,9,9,12a-heptamethyl-4a-({[(2r,3r,4s,5r)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-1,3,4,5,6,7,8,8a,10,11,12,12b,13,14b-tetradecahydropicene-3,4,5,10-tetrol is found in Centipeda minima. It was first documented in 2022 (PMID: 36075691).
