Description(2S,3R,4R,5R,6S)-4,5-dihydroxy-2-{3-hydroxy-5-[(E)-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethenyl]phenoxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-3-yl 3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as stilbene glycosides. Stilbene glycosides are compounds structurally characterized by the presence of a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to the stilbene skeleton. (2s,3r,4r,5r,6s)-4,5-dihydroxy-2-{3-hydroxy-5-[(1e)-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethenyl]phenoxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-3-yl (2e)-3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate is found in Upuna borneensis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S,3R,4R,5R,6S)-4,5-dihydroxy-2-{3-hydroxy-5-[(E)-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethenyl]phenoxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-3-yl 3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate.
