Naphthopyranone glycosides are compounds containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to a naphthopyranone moiety. 5-hydroxy-2-methyl-6-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}benzo[g]chromen-4-one is found in Senna obtusifolia and Senna tora. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 5-hydroxy-2-methyl-6-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-4H-benzo[g]chromen-4-one.
