These are steroids with a structure based on the ergostane skeleton, which arises from the methylation of cholestane at the 24-position. (1r,2s,4s,7s,8r,9s,12s,13s)-16-amino-7-(3,4-dimethylpent-4-en-1-yl)-7-hydroxy-9,13-dimethyl-5-oxapentacyclo[10.8.0.0²,⁹.0⁴,⁸.0¹³,¹⁸]icosan-6-one is found in Cliona celata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,2S,4S,7S,8R,9S,12S,13S)-16-amino-7-(3,4-dimethylpent-4-en-1-yl)-7-hydroxy-9,13-dimethyl-5-oxapentacyclo[10.8.0.0²,⁹.0⁴,⁸.0¹³,¹⁸]Icosan-6-one. |
