| Description | (3AR,8aR)-4,5,5abeta,6,7,8-Hexahydro-3aalpha,5,5,8beta-tetramethyl-4beta-(tigloyloxy)-6alpha-acetoxycyclopenta[c]pentalene-3(3aH)-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as angular triquinanes. These are triquinane with a structure based on a [6.3.0.0^1,5] Undecane carbon skeleton. (1r,5r,6s,8r,9r,11r)-9-(acetyloxy)-5,7,7,11-tetramethyl-4-oxotricyclo[6.3.0.0¹,⁵]undec-2-en-6-yl (2e)-2-methylbut-2-enoate is found in Bethencourtia palmensis and Cineraria geifolia. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (3aR,8aR)-4,5,5abeta,6,7,8-Hexahydro-3aalpha,5,5,8beta-tetramethyl-4beta-(tigloyloxy)-6alpha-acetoxycyclopenta[c]pentalene-3(3aH)-one. |
