DescriptionConfluenine A belongs to the class of organic compounds known as hydroxamic acids. Hydroxamic acids are compounds containing a hydroxamic acid functional group in which a hydroxylamine is inserted into a carboxylic acid. Its general structure is R-CO-NH-OH, with an R as an organic residue. (2r,3s)-2-[(2s)-n-hydroxy-2-methylbutanamido]-3-methylpentanimidic acid is found in Albatrellus confluens. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Confluenine A.
