Description(5-{[3,4-Dihydroxy-4-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}-6-[2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)ethoxy]-3-hydroxy-4-[(3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl)oxy]oxan-2-yl)methyl 3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as oligosaccharides. These are carbohydrates made up of 3 to 10 monosaccharide units linked to each other through glycosidic bonds. (5-{[3,4-dihydroxy-4-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}-6-[2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)ethoxy]-3-hydroxy-4-[(3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl)oxy]oxan-2-yl)methyl 3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate is found in Newbouldia laevis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (5-{[3,4-dihydroxy-4-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}-6-[2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)ethoxy]-3-hydroxy-4-[(3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl)oxy]oxan-2-yl)methyl 3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate.
