DescriptionMyricetin 3-o-(4''-o-acetyl-2''-o-galloyl)-alpha-l-rhamnopyranoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. Thus, myricetin 3-O-(4''-O-acetyl-2''-O-galloyl)-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside is considered to be a flavonoid. (2s,3r,4r,5r,6s)-5-(acetyloxy)-2-{[5,7-dihydroxy-4-oxo-2-(3,4,5-trihydroxyphenyl)chromen-3-yl]oxy}-4-hydroxy-6-methyloxan-3-yl 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoate is found in Syzygium cumini. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Myricetin 3-o-(4''-o-acetyl-2''-o-galloyl)-alpha-l-rhamnopyranoside.
