Description(24Z)-3alpha-Hydroxy-7,11-dioxo-8,24-tirucalladiene-26-oic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as triterpenoids. These are terpene molecules containing six isoprene units. (2z,6s)-6-[(1s,3as,5ar,7r,9as,11as)-7-hydroxy-3a,6,6,9a,11a-pentamethyl-4,10-dioxo-1h,2h,3h,5h,5ah,7h,8h,9h,11h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthren-1-yl]-2-methylhept-2-enoic acid is found in Amphipterygium adstringens. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (24Z)-3alpha-Hydroxy-7,11-dioxo-8,24-tirucalladiene-26-oic acid.
