Description(1S,4aR,5S,8aR)-5-[(4E)-6-hydroxy-4-methylhex-4-en-1-yl]-1,4a-dimethyl-6-methylidene-decahydronaphthalene-1-carboxylic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as fatty alcohols. These are aliphatic alcohols consisting of a chain of a least six carbon atoms. (1s,4ar,5s,8ar)-5-[(4e)-6-hydroxy-4-methylhex-4-en-1-yl]-1,4a-dimethyl-6-methylidene-hexahydro-2h-naphthalene-1-carboxylic acid is found in Juniperus communis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,4aR,5S,8aR)-5-[(4E)-6-hydroxy-4-methylhex-4-en-1-yl]-1,4a-dimethyl-6-methylidene-decahydronaphthalene-1-carboxylic acid.
