These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. 2-{[2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-8-(5-hydroxy-3,4-dihydro-2h-pyrrol-2-yl)-3,4-dihydro-2h-1-benzopyran-3-yl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Davallia mariesii. 2-{[2-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-8-(5-hydroxy-3,4-dihydro-2H-pyrrol-2-yl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-3-yl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
