Description | (S)-Skyrin 6-xylopyranoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as hydroxyanthraquinones. Hydroxyanthraquinones are compounds containing a hydroxyanthraquinone moiety, which consists of an anthracene bearing a quinone, and hydroxyl group. 2,4,4',5,5'-pentahydroxy-7,7'-dimethyl-2'-{[(2s,3r,4s,5r)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-[1,1'-bianthracene]-9,9',10,10'-tetrone is found in Hypericum perforatum and Hypericum sampsonii. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (S)-Skyrin 6-xylopyranoside. |
