Stilbene glycosides are compounds structurally characterized by the presence of a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to the stilbene skeleton. 2-{2,4-dihydroxy-6-[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethenyl]phenoxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Fallopia multiflora. 2-{2,4-Dihydroxy-6-[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethenyl]phenoxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
