These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. 4-hydroxy-2-methyl-5-(6-methylhept-5-en-2-yl)cyclohex-2-en-1-one is found in Calea jamaicensis. 4-Hydroxy-2-methyl-5-(6-methylhept-5-en-2-yl)cyclohex-2-en-1-one is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
