Description | 4-[3,5-Dihydroxy-4-(2-methyl-1-oxopropyl)phenoxy]-2-methyl-2-butenoic acid methyl ester belongs to the class of organic compounds known as alkyl-phenylketones. These are aromatic compounds containing a ketone substituted by one alkyl group, and a phenyl group. methyl 4-[3,5-dihydroxy-4-(2-methylpropanoyl)phenoxy]-2-methylbut-2-enoate is found in Helichrysum asperum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 4-[3,5-dihydroxy-4-(2-methyl-1-oxopropyl)phenoxy]-2-methyl-2-butenoic acid methyl ester. |
