DescriptionHalipanicine belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. (1r,4r,4ar,6s)-4-isopropyl-6-isothiocyanato-1,6-dimethyl-2,3,4,4a,5,7-hexahydro-1h-naphthalene is found in Halichondria panicea. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Halipanicine.
