Description | (5Alpha)-Oleandrigenin 3-(alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside) belongs to the class of organic compounds known as cardenolide glycosides and derivatives. Cardenolide glycosides and derivatives are compounds containing a carbohydrate glycosidically bound to the cardenolide moiety. (1r,2s,3as,3br,5as,7s,9as,9bs,11ar)-3a-hydroxy-9a,11a-dimethyl-1-(5-oxo-2h-furan-3-yl)-7-{[(2r,3r,4r,5r,6s)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}-tetradecahydrocyclopenta[a]phenanthren-2-yl acetate is found in Mallotus nudiflorus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (5alpha)-Oleandrigenin 3-(alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside). |
