DescriptionN-Acetylasimilobine belongs to the class of organic compounds known as aporphines. These are quinoline alkaloids containing the dibenzo[de,g]quinoline ring system or a dehydrogenated derivative thereof. 1-[(9r)-15-hydroxy-16-methoxy-10-azatetracyclo[7.7.1.0²,⁷.0¹³,¹⁷]heptadeca-1(17),2,4,6,13,15-hexaen-10-yl]ethanone is found in Zanthoxylum simulans. 1-[(9r)-15-hydroxy-16-methoxy-10-azatetracyclo[7.7.1.0²,⁷.0¹³,¹⁷]heptadeca-1(17),2,4,6,13,15-hexaen-10-yl]ethanone was first documented in 2010 (PMID: 20080155). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on N-Acetylasimilobine (PMID: 33485157).
