Common Name[(2r,3r,4s,5r,6s)-6-{[5,7-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4-oxochromen-3-yl]oxy}-3,5-dihydroxy-4-{[(2e)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoyl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]methyl (2e)-3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate
DescriptionKaempferol 3-(3''-p-coumaryl-6''-ferulylglucoside) belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid 3-o-p-coumaroyl glycosides. These are flavonoid 3-O-glycosides where the carbohydrate moiety is esterified with a p-coumaric acid. P-coumaric acid is an organic derivative of cinnamic acid, that carries a hydroxyl group at the 4-position of the benzene ring. Thus, kaempferol 3-(3''-p-coumaryl-6''-ferulylglucoside) is considered to be a flavonoid. [(2r,3r,4s,5r,6s)-6-{[5,7-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4-oxochromen-3-yl]oxy}-3,5-dihydroxy-4-{[(2e)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoyl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]methyl (2e)-3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate is found in Stenochlaena palustris. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Kaempferol 3-(3''-p-coumaryl-6''-ferulylglucoside).
