These are sterol lipids containing a lactone moiety linked to the steroid skeleton. (1r,5s,7r)-7-[(1s,3as,3bs,9ar,9bs,11as)-9a,11a-dimethyl-9-oxo-1h,2h,3h,3ah,3bh,4h,6h,9bh,10h,11h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthren-1-yl]-5-methyl-4-methylidene-2,6-dioxabicyclo[3.3.1]nonan-3-one is found in Datura metel. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,5S,7R)-7-[(1S,2R,10S,11S,14S,15S)-2,15-dimethyl-3-oxotetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadeca-4,7-dien-14-yl]-5-methyl-4-methylidene-2,6-dioxabicyclo[3.3.1]Nonan-3-one. |
