These are sesquiterpenoids having the germacrane skeleton, with a structure characterized by a cyclodecane ring substituted with an isopropyl and two methyl groups. (1r,4r,5e,7s)-7-isopropyl-4-methyl-10-methylidenecyclodec-5-ene-1,4-diol is found in Achillea pannonica and Piper kadsura. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,4R,5E,7S)-4-methyl-10-methylidene-7-(propan-2-yl)cyclodec-5-ene-1,4-diol. |
