Description(1R,3R,5S)-5-ethyl-1-oxo-1λ⁴-thiomorpholine-3-carboxylic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as l-alpha-amino acids. These are alpha amino acids which have the L-configuration of the alpha-carbon atom. (1r,3r,5s)-3-carboxy-5-ethylthiomorpholin-1-ium-1-olate is found in Allium siculum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,3R,5S)-5-ethyl-1-oxo-1λ⁴-thiomorpholine-3-carboxylic acid.
