Secondary alcohols are compounds containing a secondary alcohol functional group, with the general structure HOC(R)(R') (R,R'=alkyl, aryl). 1-[(1r,2r,5e,6r)-5-[(2e,4e,6e)-4,8-dimethylnona-2,4,6-trien-1-ylidene]-2,6-dihydroxy-4-methylcyclohex-3-en-1-yl]ethanone was first documented in 2000 (PMID: 11141117). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Phorbasin A. |
