DescriptionPedicularioside H belongs to the class of organic compounds known as oligosaccharides. These are carbohydrates made up of 3 to 10 monosaccharide units linked to each other through glycosidic bonds. 4-{[3,4-dihydroxy-4-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}-5-hydroxy-6-[2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)ethoxy]-2-{[(3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl)oxy]methyl}oxan-3-yl (2e)-3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate is found in Pedicularis spicata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Pedicularioside H.
