| Description | Anantine belongs to the class of organic compounds known as n-substituted imidazoles. These are heterocyclic compounds containing an imidazole ring substituted at position 1. (3z,4s)-4-(1-methylimidazol-4-yl)-3-(phenylmethylidene)-4,5-dihydropyrrol-2-ol is found in Streptomyces coerulescens. (3z,4s)-4-(1-methylimidazol-4-yl)-3-(phenylmethylidene)-4,5-dihydropyrrol-2-ol was first documented in 1997 (PMID: 9433762). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Anantine. |
