| Description | 4-Hydroxy-7-methoxy-3-{3-methyl-7-[(4-methylfuran-2-yl)methyl]octa-3,6-dien-2-yl}-2H-chromen-2-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene lactones. These are prenol lipids containing a lactone ring. 3-[3,7-dimethyl-8-(4-methylfuran-2-yl)octa-3,6-dien-2-yl]-4-hydroxy-7-methoxychromen-2-one is found in Ferula fukanensis. 4-Hydroxy-7-methoxy-3-{3-methyl-7-[(4-methylfuran-2-yl)methyl]octa-3,6-dien-2-yl}-2H-chromen-2-one is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). |
