Description | (3R,6S,7R,13R)-13-methoxy-3-methyl-6-[(2E)-6-methylhepta-2,5-dien-2-yl]-2-oxatricyclo[7.4.0.0³,⁷]Tridec-1(9)-en-10-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. (3r,6s,7r,13r)-13-methoxy-3-methyl-6-[(2e)-6-methylhepta-2,5-dien-2-yl]-2-oxatricyclo[7.4.0.0³,⁷]tridec-1(9)-en-10-one is found in Alternaria alternata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (3R,6S,7R,13R)-13-methoxy-3-methyl-6-[(2E)-6-methylhepta-2,5-dien-2-yl]-2-oxatricyclo[7.4.0.0³,⁷]Tridec-1(9)-en-10-one. |
