Description(2R,3R,4S,5S,6R)-2-{[(3R,4S)-4-hydroxy-3,7-dimethyloct-6-en-1-yl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene glycosides. These are prenol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a terpene backbone. (2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-2-{[(3r,4s)-4-hydroxy-3,7-dimethyloct-6-en-1-yl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Rhodiola rosea. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R,3R,4S,5S,6R)-2-{[(3R,4S)-4-hydroxy-3,7-dimethyloct-6-en-1-yl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol.
