Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon made up of two fused benzene rings. 2-{4,9-dimethoxy-2h,3h-naphtho[2,3-b]furan-2-yl}propan-2-ol is found in Avicennia marina. 2-{4,9-Dimethoxy-2H,3H-naphtho[2,3-b]furan-2-yl}propan-2-ol is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). |
