Description | (1S,8S,9S,10R,11S,13R)-11-hydroxy-6,9,10-trimethyl-4,14-dioxatetracyclo[7.5.0.0¹,¹³.0³,⁷]Tetradeca-3(7),5-dien-8-yl 3-methylbutanoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as naphthofurans. Naphthofurans are compounds containing a furan ring fused to a naphthalene moiety. Furan is a 5 membered- ring aromatic ring with four carbon and one oxygen atoms. Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon made up of two fused benzene rings. (1s,8s,9s,10r,11s,13r)-11-hydroxy-6,9,10-trimethyl-4,14-dioxatetracyclo[7.5.0.0¹,¹³.0³,⁷]tetradeca-3(7),5-dien-8-yl 3-methylbutanoate is found in Senecio nemorensis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,8S,9S,10R,11S,13R)-11-hydroxy-6,9,10-trimethyl-4,14-dioxatetracyclo[7.5.0.0¹,¹³.0³,⁷]Tetradeca-3(7),5-dien-8-yl 3-methylbutanoate. |
