| Description | (1R,2R,5R,6E,9S,10E,12R)-1,5,9-Trimethyl-12-isopropylcyclotetradeca-6,10-diene-1,2,5,9-tetraol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as cembrane diterpenoids. These are diterpenoids with a structure based a cembrane skeleton, which is characterized by the presence of an isopropyl group at C-1 and by three symmetrically disposed methyl groups a the t C-4, -8 and -12 positions. (1r,2r,5r,6e,9s,10e,12r)-12-isopropyl-1,5,9-trimethylcyclotetradeca-6,10-diene-1,2,5,9-tetrol is found in Sarcophyton auritum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,2R,5R,6E,9S,10E,12R)-1,5,9-Trimethyl-12-isopropylcyclotetradeca-6,10-diene-1,2,5,9-tetraol. |
