| Description | Piceaside G belongs to the class of organic compounds known as stilbene glycosides. Stilbene glycosides are compounds structurally characterized by the presence of a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to the stilbene skeleton. (2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-2-{3-[(1e)-2-[(2r,3r)-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-2-(3-hydroxy-5-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}phenyl)-2,3-dihydro-1,4-benzodioxin-6-yl]ethenyl]-5-hydroxyphenoxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Picea abies. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Piceaside G. |
