Description(2E,4E,6E,8E,10E,14E)-13-hydroxy-N-(1-hydroxypropan-2-yl)-2,10,12,14-tetramethylheptadeca-2,4,6,8,10,14-hexaenamide, also known as myxalamid C, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as acyclic monoterpenoids. These are monoterpenes that do not contain a cycle. (2e,4e,6e,8e,10e,14e)-13-hydroxy-n-(1-hydroxypropan-2-yl)-2,10,12,14-tetramethylheptadeca-2,4,6,8,10,14-hexaenimidic acid is found in Myxococcus xanthus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2E,4E,6E,8E,10E,14E)-13-hydroxy-N-(1-hydroxypropan-2-yl)-2,10,12,14-tetramethylheptadeca-2,4,6,8,10,14-hexaenamide.
