These are sterol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to the steroid skeleton. 1-[11-(acetyloxy)-1,3a-dihydroxy-7-{[5-({5-[(5-hydroxy-4-methoxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl)oxy]-4-methoxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl}oxy)-4-methoxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}-9a,11a-dimethyl-dodecahydro-2h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthren-1-yl]ethyl benzoate is found in Dregea sinensis. 1-[16-(Acetyloxy)-11,14-dihydroxy-5-{[5-({5-[(5-hydroxy-4-methoxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl)oxy]-4-methoxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl}oxy)-4-methoxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}-2,15-dimethyltetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadecan-14-yl]ethyl benzoate is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
