| Description | 2,3,8-Trihydroxy-6,7-dimethoxy-2-methyl-1,2,3,4,9,10-hexahydroanthracene-9,10-dione belongs to the class of organic compounds known as hydroxyanthraquinones. Hydroxyanthraquinones are compounds containing a hydroxyanthraquinone moiety, which consists of an anthracene bearing a quinone, and hydroxyl group. 1,6,7-trihydroxy-2,3-dimethoxy-7-methyl-6,8-dihydro-5h-anthracene-9,10-dione is found in Aspergillus tritici. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2,3,8-trihydroxy-6,7-dimethoxy-2-methyl-1,2,3,4,9,10-hexahydroanthracene-9,10-dione. |
