These are polycyclic aromatic compounds containing a 1-benzopyran moiety with a ketone group at the C2 carbon atom (1-benzopyran-2-one). 7-{[(1r,4s,4as,6r,8as)-6-{[(2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-6-({[(2r,3r,4r)-3,4-dihydroxy-4-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-4-hydroxy-5,5,8a-trimethyl-2-methylidene-hexahydro-1h-naphthalen-1-yl]methoxy}chromen-2-one is found in Ferula persica. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 7-{[(1R,4S,4aS,6R,8aS)-6-{[(2R,3R,4S,5S,6R)-6-({[(2R,3R,4R)-3,4-dihydroxy-4-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-4-hydroxy-5,5,8a-trimethyl-2-methylidene-decahydronaphthalen-1-yl]methoxy}-2H-chromen-2-one. |
