Description | 2-(3-Hydroxy-2,4-dimethylhex-1-en-1-yl)-2,7-dimethyl-5-propanoyl-2,3-dihydro-1-benzofuran-3-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as benzofurans. These are organic compounds containing a benzene ring fused to a furan. Furan is a five-membered aromatic ring with four carbon atoms and one oxygen atom. 2-(3-hydroxy-2,4-dimethylhex-1-en-1-yl)-2,7-dimethyl-5-propanoyl-1-benzofuran-3-one is found in Fusarium neocosmosporiellum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-(3-hydroxy-2,4-dimethylhex-1-en-1-yl)-2,7-dimethyl-5-propanoyl-2,3-dihydro-1-benzofuran-3-one. |
