Description2-(3,4-Dihydroxy-phenyl)-6-(3,7-dimethyl-octa-2,6-dienyl)-3,5-dihydroxy-8,8-dimethyl-8H-pyrano[2,3-f]chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 6-prenylated flavones. These are flavones that features a C5-isoprenoid substituent at the 6-position. 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-6-[(2z)-3,7-dimethylocta-2,6-dien-1-yl]-3,5-dihydroxy-8,8-dimethylpyrano[2,3-f]chromen-4-one is found in Dorstenia mannii. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-(3,4-Dihydroxy-phenyl)-6-(3,7-dimethyl-octa-2,6-dienyl)-3,5-dihydroxy-8,8-dimethyl-8H-pyrano[2,3-f]chromen-4-one.
