Description | (1S,2R,3R,5S,9S,10R,11R)-2-hydroxy-2,11-dimethyl-6-methylidene-7-oxo-8,12,13-trioxatetracyclo[9.2.2.0¹,¹⁰.0⁵,⁹]Pentadec-14-en-3-yl (2R)-2-methylbutanoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as guaianolides and derivatives. These are diterpene lactones with a structure characterized by the presence of a gamma-lactone fused to a guaiane, forming 3,6,9-trimethyl-azuleno[4,5-b]furan-2-one or a derivative. (1s,2r,3r,5s,9s,10r,11r)-2-hydroxy-2,11-dimethyl-6-methylidene-7-oxo-8,12,13-trioxatetracyclo[9.2.2.0¹,¹⁰.0⁵,⁹]pentadec-14-en-3-yl (2r)-2-methylbutanoate is found in Achillea nobilis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,2R,3R,5S,9S,10R,11R)-2-hydroxy-2,11-dimethyl-6-methylidene-7-oxo-8,12,13-trioxatetracyclo[9.2.2.0¹,¹⁰.0⁵,⁹]Pentadec-14-en-3-yl (2R)-2-methylbutanoate. |
