Description | (24R)-5alpha-Cholesta-22-ene-3beta,4beta,6alpha,8beta,15beta,24-hexol, also known as (24R)-5α-cholesta-22-ene-3β,4β,6α,8β,15β,24-hexol, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as cholesterols and derivatives. Cholesterols and derivatives are compounds containing a 3-hydroxylated cholestane core. (1r,3r,3as,3bs,5s,5as,6r,7s,9as,9br,11ar)-1-[(2r,3e,5r)-5-hydroxy-6-methylhept-3-en-2-yl]-9a,11a-dimethyl-tetradecahydrocyclopenta[a]phenanthrene-3,3b,5,6,7-pentol is found in Aster tataricus and Asteropsis carinifera. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (24R)-5alpha-Cholesta-22-ene-3beta,4beta,6alpha,8beta,15beta,24-hexol. |
