DescriptionVismiaphenone G belongs to the class of organic compounds known as benzophenones. These are organic compounds containing a ketone attached to two phenyl groups. 4-{[(2s)-3,3-dimethyloxiran-2-yl]methyl}-2-(4-hydroxybenzoyl)-5-methoxy-6-(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)benzene-1,3-diol is found in Vismia cayennensis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Vismiaphenone G.
