Description | 5,7-Dihydroxy-3-(6-hydroxy-2H-1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)-6-(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as isoflavanones. These are polycyclic compounds containing an isoflavan skeleton which bears a ketone at position C4. 5,7-dihydroxy-3-(6-hydroxy-2h-1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)-6-(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)-2,3-dihydro-1-benzopyran-4-one is found in Sophora flavescens. 5,7-Dihydroxy-3-(6-hydroxy-2H-1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)-6-(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-4-one is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). |
