| Description | (2R)-2-[(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)methyl]-2,6-dihydroxy-4-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-2,3-dihydro-1-benzofuran-3-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as aurone o-glycosides. These are aurone flavonoids containing a carbohydrate moiety O-glycosidically bound to the aurone skeleton. (2r)-2-[(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)methyl]-2,6-dihydroxy-4-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-1-benzofuran-3-one is found in Artocarpus tonkinensis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R)-2-[(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)methyl]-2,6-dihydroxy-4-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-2,3-dihydro-1-benzofuran-3-one. |
