Description(R)-Tembamide belongs to the class of organic compounds known as benzamides. These are organic compounds containing a carboxamido substituent attached to a benzene ring. n-[(2r)-2-hydroxy-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethyl]benzenecarboximidic acid is found in Clausena brevistyla, Feroniella lucida and Zanthoxylum fagara. n-[(2r)-2-hydroxy-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethyl]benzenecarboximidic acid was first documented in 2019 (PMID: 30900703). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (R)-Tembamide.
