Description | Drummondin B belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 2,2-dimethyl-1-benzopyrans. These are organic compounds containing a 1-benzopyran moiety that carries two methyl groups at the 2-position. 4-[(8-acetyl-5,7-dihydroxy-2,2-dimethylchromen-6-yl)methyl]-3,5-dihydroxy-6,6-dimethyl-2-propanoylcyclohexa-2,4-dien-1-one is found in Hypericum drummondii. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on drummondin B. |
