Description | 15-(Butan-2-yl)-8,14,17-trihydroxy-4-methyl-3,12-bis(2-methylpropyl)-6,9,18-tris(propan-2-yl)-1,10-dioxa-4,7,13,16-tetraazacyclooctadeca-7,13,16-triene-2,5,11-trione belongs to the class of organic compounds known as cyclic depsipeptides. The residues are commonly but not necessarily regularly alternating. 8,14,17-trihydroxy-6,9,18-triisopropyl-4-methyl-3,12-bis(2-methylpropyl)-15-(sec-butyl)-1,10-dioxa-4,7,13,16-tetraazacyclooctadeca-7,13,16-triene-2,5,11-trione is found in Pseudopithomyces chartarum. 15-(Butan-2-yl)-8,14,17-trihydroxy-4-methyl-3,12-bis(2-methylpropyl)-6,9,18-tris(propan-2-yl)-1,10-dioxa-4,7,13,16-tetraazacyclooctadeca-7,13,16-triene-2,5,11-trione is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). |
