Description | 2-Methoxy-4-[(1S,3abeta,6abeta)-tetrahydro-4beta-[3-methoxy-4-(alpha-D-galactopyranosyloxy)phenyl]-1H,3H-furo[3,4-c]furan-1beta-yl]phenol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as lignan glycosides. These are aromatic polycyclic compounds containing a carbohydrate component glycosidically linked to a lignan moiety. They include 1-aryltetralin lactones. (2r,3r,4s,5r,6r)-2-{4-[(1s,3ar,4s,6ar)-4-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-hexahydrofuro[3,4-c]furan-1-yl]-2-methoxyphenoxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Daphne oleoides. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-Methoxy-4-[(1S,3abeta,6abeta)-tetrahydro-4beta-[3-methoxy-4-(alpha-D-galactopyranosyloxy)phenyl]-1H,3H-furo[3,4-c]furan-1beta-yl]phenol. |
