| Description | 6,8-Dimethoxy-1alpha-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-2alpha-(beta-D-xylopyranosyloxymethyl)-3alpha-(hydroxymethyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene-7-ol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as lignan glycosides. These are aromatic polycyclic compounds containing a carbohydrate component glycosidically linked to a lignan moiety. They include 1-aryltetralin lactones. (2r,3r,4s,5r)-2-{[(1s,2s,3r)-7-hydroxy-1-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-3-(hydroxymethyl)-6,8-dimethoxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalen-2-yl]methoxy}oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Litsea glutinosa. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 6,8-Dimethoxy-1alpha-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-2alpha-(beta-D-xylopyranosyloxymethyl)-3alpha-(hydroxymethyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene-7-ol. |
